Hi:

I've a question about credit card processing and php. I searched the forums but the returning links are all broken... Anyways, what are my options here? I'd rather outsource the processing of the actual purchase but need to know what the person purchased, etc so that we can ship them their goods. I'm using php4 and mysql for site customization, is there a service that does this sort of thing? I apologize if this seems very generic, I'm just getting my feet wet with credit cards.....

I've had very good results with verisign/signio. You build
your shopping cart yourself, then link at the time of
purchase to a secure page on their site for the actual
ccard processing. In your setup with them, you specify
a page on your site that they will POST to after the
ccard processing is successful; they can give you as
much detail at that point as you ask for.
