(posted with extreme confusion and frustration)
I have a site that offers some text boxes to be used to collect some information. After entering the information the user then goes to a confirmation page with the option to continue or go back and change data. If continue is presses a page asks for some infomation (email, etc.).
My problem occurs when going back to change information or when going back after validation of email. It keeps the original info. I have tried to unregister, destroy, unset, etc. but to no success.
This site does work on my web host machine (which was pre-configured, of course). When we install this site on my clients NT I get the above problems. It also warns of an unidentified variable: submit.
My client just installed php on the NT so this all leads me to believe there may be a configuration problem.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Also, I have searched high and low for information on sessions with limited success. Are there any tutorials that give a full explanation concerning sessions? I have read some decent columns but they are somewhat spotty, only addressing specific problems. Not the whole enchalada 🙂
I have gone through phpbuilder, php.net and the manual, and other php related sites.
Any help "may" restore my sanity.
