Uploading

When I upload something via a browser, it says the the file is "none" and cant copy it to the directory. Here is an output of the variables:

Temp Name: none
File Name: chip1so.jpg
Size: 0
Type: image/pjpeg

It keeps saying none. Anyone have any ideas?

Change your <form> to include
enctype="multipart/form-data"

This is strait from the php manual.

Then you're php.ini var tmp_upload_dir is probably not set. Check that.

Nope, that is set to /tmp which is writable to all. There are files in that dir called php<different numbers>

I have exactly the same problem! I am using Win98 PHP4 and I am using the new
$HTTP_POST_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name']
style conventions for the details of the file. I am using Xitami web server
