Create table Autonumber ? (Access)

Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering how I can create a table with odbc to a Microsoft Access database. The table must have an autoincrement field, or autonumber .. as it is know to the microsoft world.

Currently the following code doesnt work:

create table books (
id autonumber primary key,
student text
);

Hi, thanks ppl.
i was having the same problem , but i did not realize AUTOINCREMENT it is a type , not an properties of the fiield
so ID should Not include int or integer.

Access working
Create Table Query for asp:

create table books (id AUTOINCREMENT primary key)

it is not AUTO_Increment
where is table in tableschema named "keywords"
here is all the words for MS Access:
and as far as i understand the only way to create anything is to use one of this words
(p.s. for the SQL database - working query is
