Implode...

Is it possible to implode few variables?
They aren't array, but can I implode them?
like,

$a, $b, $c, $d, $e... Can I implode them?
echo implode(": ",); ? somewhat like this?

Don't ask me why I asked this stupid question, I just needed to be 100% sure...

$variable = implode (":", $array);

If you read the manual you'd know that implode only works for arrays, not for variables.

If you do need to implode them, you must put your variables into an array first.

But, what are you trying to do? Maybe there are better ways of doing what you want to do. wddx_serialize for example

try this
$temp = array($a, $b, $c, $d, $e, ..);
$joined = implode(":", $temp);

or this

$joined = $a.":".$b.":".$c.":".$d.":"....;
. is used to concatenate two vars or a var and string
