I want to make my own shopping cart, but I don't know where to start.

How can I store products and quantities that people select ?

How does that information (not) get lost ?

My advice is learn, learn and learn PHP, a lot of usefull materials can be found here, or at devshed.com for example ...

It's wise to understand how to store data before you start building your shopping application :-)
