Email forwarding

Hi!

I want to give away free emailforwarding services to my users, just exactly like www.netforward.com does. For explaination: someone registers an emailadress on my site, and all emails coming to this address is forwarded to his 'real' emaildress at his ISP. The registering person should be able to choose one out of many domains, should have his password-protected 'private' section where he can change passwords, 'real'-email-adress and personal information.
Does someone know where I could get scripts that would do that automatically? Of course I also would pay for them. But I need no programmer who would develop that for me (I probably could do that myself if I were a better programmer ;-)), I need an (almost) out-of-the-box running system.

Most unix installations support use of .forward files (don't forget the .)

You just make a .forward file in the user's home directory with a list of names to forward the mail to and off it goes. I use this all the time for notification of groups who maintain different parts of our intranet at work.

It's real easy to write a script that edits that file so the user can set the address themselves, or you can do it if you're worried about them using it for spam.
