Templates and If statement

Hello,

I hope that someone out there can tell me what the heck I'm doing wrong here.

I'm trying to use a template, and it was going great until I tried to add a new variable.

When you enter the main page, everything comes up correctly (another.php - code pasted in another.php message).

When you click on the Galleries link, that works also - the three parts of the template change correctly.

Then when I try to run my gallery.inc script (code pasted in gallery.inc message) , I get taken back to the main page.

I'm thinking that I have something coded incorrectly in another.php, perhaps I need to somehow refer to all variables in this script because it's the main template page, but I'm not quite sure how to do this.

Can anyone help?

The only active link is the Galleries button. You'll be taken to the main gallery spiel, but if you click on Binky's link, it takes you back to the main page.

I redid the gallery.inc, but now it produces a blank page where there should be text:
