virus checking using php programming

Hello freinds,
i want to make a e-mail system which can scan mail( even attachments) before showing to the user. Can anyone help me. Like yahoo mail which performs virus checking of attachments before downloading. I want to develop that in PHP. Please do help me.

To me what you would want to be doing is actually using some sort of virus checker in your script, and if its clean then allow it, if its not delete it.
