Does PHP do this

Greetings,
I am wondering if PHP can control window placement. I have a very wide page which needs links to scroll to the right or left. This is a data driven page PHP4, MySQL, and it would be great to handle this with PHP and/or MySQL. I can see having the x, y values in a table and PHP moves (or better yet scrolls) the page to those coordinates. I have looked in the manual, if I missed it, a hint, a pointer, cut and paste.... all help appreciated.

PHP has no direct bearing on this: it's purely server-side, and what you're talking about is a client issue. However, if you can conceive of a way to do what you need in javascript, of course PHP can write the javascript to the client's browser the same as it can any html or text output.
