Hi! everyone. I have a credit card number like

3612 123654 1236

I need to validate this, if the user types in wrongs, a message should be displayed.

It should be 4 nos followed by a blank space and 6 nos followed by blank space and 4 nos.

Help me please with a code for my better understanding, I tried but failed.

I assume that the user is using a browser-based form...so my suggestion is why don't you create 3 separate entry boxes, the first allowing only entry for 4 numbers, the second for 6 mumbers and the third for 4 numbers...this will save the bother of using a PHP script to validate. Just a suggestion.
