php3/access97 - insert into memo field

hello,

i'm using php3/access97 via odbc/nt4 srv. sp6
/iis 4.0

and i can't find a way to insert a string (including blanks, carrige returns, ..)to a memo field...(although i don't get a error message, no data is inerted into the memofield; other field types work perfectly).

any ideas?

Hello,

When you create the MySQL table, make sure to make the fields (that you want MEMO in access under ODBC connection) as type MEDIUMTEXT. This will solve your problem.

myODBC still needs some work... it can't use GLOB fields.
