I need a script that will detect IP addresses. I want to be able to block some addresses. Is there a script I can use (full script ready to cut and paste) that I can just plug in the IPs and put it in the html?

Try a search engine, or going to www.phpinfo.com \ www.php.net
and searching for scripts.

Thats the best place, rather than hoping someone whor reads the forums will either have a script to cut and paste or have the time to write one.

Btw, these things are rarely cut and paste. I got a admin download to look at, its 43 files.

many webservers are configurable in a way sothat only certain ip address ranges are allowed to access certain directories.

perhaps that would be an easier route?
