Convert Case - Form Input

Is there an easy way to check form input and change the case to proper? For example, a form that requires a person's name and someone leaves thier caps lock on or does not use caps at all... this needs to be converted to proper case before being added to the database.

I think what you're looking for are the ucfirst() and ucwords() functions. just run them on the input.
