I apologize for posting this question in this support group, but I was hoping that someone here can help me out cuz other forums (Javascript) were of no help. And there is ABSOLUTELY no help on the Internet in general.
QUESTION:
How do I prevent the user from changing the size of text in a web page? (I.e. IE explorer: View/Text Size, or Netscape: View/Increase Font-Decrease Font).
I know that it is possible, because there are quite a few websites that I know of that do this very thing. (i.e. www.altavista.com. Etc.)
The reason I am asking is because I am working on a web site that has to be done in a certain font size. It is designed such that it looks good on “normal” (i.e. Medium) default size. But if the user has their browser Text SIZE set to anything else, the site looks unacceptable...the form fields change their size, text areas as well, etc.
Please let me know if you know the solution.
