mail function must be used in loop?

I want to send email to certain people from a mysql database. I want to know if I should send it using a loop (while/for) to send it one at a time, or if I can group them all in one variable with "separeted by ;"

Also, Does the last statement has to do with my link (connection) - better saying, does it depend on the amount of records???

if you want to send the mails individually, then yes you will need to loop it. else you can seperate the mails by , i believe or ; will work too.

and sorry, i did not understand what you meant in your second question.

I mean if sending them in batch mode depend on my ISP link band: for example 2mbits, 256mbits, etc.

Otherwise if I send more than it can hold, it will crash, isn't true?

no nothing will crash ... dont you worry about that 🙂

i once mailed nearly 2000 subscribers in one go using a loop. the OS handles the threads very nicely... generally its Linux .. i cant say anything about winblows 🙂
