date convert

Hello,

I've got a problem with converting a datestring(from outside php) to another dateformat. The original datestring looks like this "Sun, 03 Dec 2000 15:43:56 +0100" and I like to convert it to something like "00/12/04 16.43".
Anyone?

Take a look at strtotime() and date() in the PHP manual.
