PHP_SELF opening another browser window.

I've searched for this problem and can't find a solution.

After I've submitted information back to the same php file (via PHP_SELF) it opens a second browser window with the next part of the code. It only happens with MSIE. It doesn't occur with netscape. Anyone have any suggestions?

You need to specify the code you're using (both PHP and HTML) so we can work out what's going on. Sounds like something to do with frames and <a target="_blank"> to me. Or it could be JavaScript.
