Form help

I am working on a web e-mailprog. It is almost finished but i have one bug i can't fix. I use the <pre> tag to show e-mails correctly, but the mails that's sendt from my e-mailprog, the whole message is shown in one line. I want the text to have a line break with these rules:

• each line max 70 chars
• break line after the last space before the line have reached 70 chars
• if a line is less than 70 chars, then ignore
• if a line is one long word over 70 chars, then insert "-" after char 69 and break.

Pleas help me.

With the exception of the hyphenation, wordwrap() will do all of that. See the manual entry.
