Hi
Can anyone give some pointers on how i can create/setup an "email the article" type of facility on a site. I am using php4 and mysql.

simply use mail() function to mail whatever you want.
check the mail() in the php documentation for further information on php.net

There is really not much in the docs about using mail with a db. Unless i was looking in the wrong place.
... You can't say to the mail function send row 17 of table xyz to someone...
but you can fetch the data out of the db with your php script, and then mail the results ...
