Passing variables without form

Whats the best way to pass variables, if any, without using forms and "/?id=2" stuff.... i have a page without any forms and i want to maintain a variable thru pages... do i have to resort to cookies/sessions? or is there any other way. Thx 🙂

either FORM or sessions() .. choice is up to you...

personally i use FORM. as it is more secure and is guaranteed 100% that it will work. unlike the cookies, which only works if the use has his/her browser enabled for the cookies! and i dont like to keep the functionality of my scripts in users hands 🙂

true but i have 4 different links.. in text.. i need to goto different page from each link while passing some values.... i can't have more than one form 🙁 cuz when i add form tag and it shifts things around 🙁

Then use sessions, but remember sessions don't have to use cookies, you can send the session id in the URL.
