PHP Not Getting the Arguments

I am having problems with PHP 4 installed as a module on Apache 1.3 on Windows 2000.

At my vB forums: <a href="http://www.amdmb.com/vb/index.php">http://www.amdmb.com/vb/index.php</a> if you click any of the links, you'll see my problem. The PHP never seems to see the parameters (showthread.php<B>?threadid=5751</B>) of the URL, and goes to the default action of the PHP file.

When I had PHP installed as a CGI-based program, it worked normally, but it was a system hog, and the module is supposed to perform MUCH better.

Any help you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

How do you access the URL data in your php script?

I dont think it got anything to do with the way he access his variables in the script. It worked before with the CGI module..

I guess he installed a new php.ini file when changing...

Possibly, but if his php.ini has changed, we still need to know what method he is using to tell him what he should change in his php.ini to make it work again.

Yes.. I agree on that... Most likely he's calling it like: $thred... The php.ini file may require him to write $HTTP_GET_VARS['thred'], and if in a function he must declare $HTTP_GET_VARS as a global

Andreas is right, I had the same problem. Solution:
either use $HTTP_GET_VARS or probably the getenv() function
or change the following php.ini setting to "On":

register_globals = Off

Well, I think I did find the problem in php.ini. I had global set to OFF; and it needed to be ON.
