i'm new to php, but i wanted to know if i could have a listbox that would navigate a frame when clicked. i did this in java but not enough browsers support java. basically, i just need to know how to handle the event of the item in the "<select>" tag changing...

You cant do that with PHP.. You can only handle when a form is posted.. Use javascript if you want to do something like that

Use the onChange() event.

onChange() is not PHP... it's javascript... just so you dont get confused.
