switch statement with multiple values

I have a switch/case statement i'm using for countries. My problem is that in the case statement, there are more than one value that is involved for each case.. i.e

switch ($country) {
case '1' or '6' or '8' or '9' or '18':
$MailTo "";
$MailSubject = "";
break;
case '3' or '7'or '11' or '12' or '17' or '20' or '23' or '28' or '33' or '34' or '35' or '36' or '38' or '39' or '40' or '42' or '45':
$MailTo = "";
$MailSubject = "";
break;}

If i end up selecting the 1 or the three value in the form, i'm fine, but if i choose any other values, i get an error saying "bad message destination" for the email?? any ideas?

why dont you try the if loop,

if( $country==1 || $country==6 )
do this;
elseif( $country==3 || $country==7 )
do this;
elseif( $country==x || $country==y )
dothis;

SWITCH is good when we have ONE value to deal
