Khai, you miss the point.
A persistant connection works just like using a normal connection.
You have to use the OCIPLOGON function every time you want to open a connect to a database.
The only difference between OCILOGON and OCIPLOGON is that OCILOGON will allways create a new connection, and OCIPLOGON will first check if there is an "old" persistant connection still available.
If there is an old connection available, it will use the old connection. Otherwise, OCIPLOGON will create a new connection.
