Trouble with Cookies

I currently run a database driven commerce site. The site has two "faces" if you will, same database, same product pages, different design different front page. myweb1.com and myweb2.com for instance. Shopping cart is stored via cookies.

I only have a secure server certificate for myweb1.com. myweb2.com doesn't get myweb1.com's cookies--so if you add items to your cart from myweb2.com and try to checkout via myweb1.com your cart will appear empty. I would like to somehow be able to transfer cookies from one domain to another, so that I won't have to buy another certificate for the second domain. ideally you'd do all your shopping on myweb1.com or myweb2.com, whichever you wanted, and then when the secure checkout starts, all orders are processed through myweb1.com.

1.) try looking up in this forum about multiple domain cookies.
2.) when a user is going to checkout, the odds are very good that they are clicking a link saying CHECKOUT, in this link, why dont you just pass the cookieID in the URL, then on that page, set a the cookie for the https site?
