where goes the whole URL?

hi outthere

i have a big problem. i need to know the whole URL the user typed in his browser.
and when i leave out http-auth i wasn't able to catch something before the @.

as i know you can use this semantic for ftp and http authentication like this:

http://user:[e-mail]

i need only the user for displaying the apropriate content. so when a user types in

http://[e-mail]

so it should display a personal info about george without any authentication.

has someone an idea??
