no cache

Hi !
i build a form which update a file (a picture)
in the result page i want to show the picture which is copied.
my problem:
i see the old picture instead the new !
I must refresh my page to see the new picture !
however i put no cache head in my script:

what can i do ?!?

this does happen. inspite of all the standards we have !!!
can u try this

<a href="blah.php">blah</a> would be a regular link.

<?
$md = md5(time());
echo "<a href=blah.php?ref=$md>blah</a>";
?>

now what this would do is force a refresh every time as the value of $md keeps on changing, and the browser will think it has not fetched the page from the server. Hence in turn it will go to the server and fetch it again.

It's not the page that mustn't be cached, it's the picture.

You will always have a fresh image.
