Creating .txt file on clientside

 i am trying to create a .txt file on client side.

 if any one know how to do this, plz let me know about it.

You can't. You can only let a user download a .txt file if he wants.

Note: this is a good thing.

how to show the save dialog box while downloading .txt files in ASP. It should not open in the browser itself. when clicking a download link, i need to get a save diaglog box.reply me back...
