checking the physical size of an image.

Hi,

Having looked at Florian Dittmer's excellent tutorial "Binary Data + MySQL + PHP Or: How to store images directly in the sql database " I have made a database for news articles which can handle photos.

The only thing is that I would like to be able to limit the physical size of the photos displayed to under 300px in either direction.

Any ideas how I can get started on this??

I suspect you need the function GetImageSize, which is documented in the manual.
