ask about path for template file

I have a template.php3
for template at root directory

I left a place for include detail.
<?include $data?>

when i type in browser : "http://www.xxx.com/template.php3?data=http://www.xxx.com/content/data.php3"

in data.php3
picture file is refer to its directory .
when i view source ? i found <img src = 'http://www.xxx.com/image.jpg'>
how can i tell php using image path in directory /content?

data.php3 should reference the picture as an absolute path (/content/image.jpg) because anything that is not absolutely referenced will be referenced accoring to the script it was called from, in this example its template.php3. If data.php3 just has <IMG SRC="image.jpg"> then it will look for the image.jpg in the same directory as where the script it was called from resides.
