can I make my php script become root?

Hi.
I want to execute a shell command from a php script. But the thing is, it's a command not accesible to everyone, only the root can use it. How do I make my PHP file become root, or is there another trick?

I think you can use exec() or system() in combination with 'su' or 'sudo'.
