Image Help (Not creation)

Hello,
I need some help, this is my situtation:
I need to write to an html file something like <IMG SRC="http://myserver.com/getimage.php?url=http://www.phpbuilder.net/image/php.jpg">
and have the image in $url get sent back to the browser. I have tried to play with several scripts that created graphics but can't get it to simply open a http file pointer and get an image. Any help?

I had this problem as got extremely fustrated when everyone yelled out GD image creation, I finally got the answer via a guy at Liverpool Unversity (thanks Keith) and a bit of creativity, its probably something real simple just no-one thinks of it, anyways....

far as I know all you want is this...

echo "<img src=\"http://www.site.com/images/img.gif\">";

I use it to output a different picture depending upon input...

if (games == "5") { "blah" }

where "blah" is the above echo statement.
Just be VERY VERY careful with all the slashes! It DOES matter if they are / or \ 🙂

WEll, it was a good idea I hadn't though about, but doesn't perform what I need. I have to go get the image and send it to the user, I can't have the user's browser be instructed to get the image. Thanks though!
