popen peoblem

Hi,

When I execute the following command, I get this warning:

Warning: popen("/usr/bin/mailx -t -i","w") - Error 0

(mailx is an alias for sendmail on my server). What makes this problmes so hard to track, is that 90% of the time, popen works just fine. But occasionaly, I'll get the warning. Any help as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated!

Can it be that mailx is not available/times out sometimes (high load)?

I guess a workaround could be using a while loop
to try to open the connection, and if it fails, sleep a few seconds and try again for a max of X times.
