i hope i have the subject right. i don't know much about cgi. but i'm assuming when you use '?' after .cgi in a file than can be classified as a return feature? anyhow. i have a cgi script that counts how many times a file has been clicked on. and it has a way to return the amount of times that file has been clicked on by including showcount.cgi?filename.ext. problem is when i use the php include it gives me all kind of errors, and warnings. but it works fine using SSI. but i want my files to have the php extention so i can have other php scripts in there. any help would be appreciated. here's the errors and warnings i get...
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory. in /web/sites/147/burden/www.burden.f2s.com/test.php on line 9
Warning: Failed opening 'cgi-bin/showcount.cgi?index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /web/sites/147/burden/www.burden.f2s.com/test.php on line 9
is there just something i'm doing wrong. i don't know how i mess up a one liner. but please help.
