I wondered if there is a redirection code for PHP....like this simple Java code:

Is there something like this in PHP?

Maybe 'redirection' is not the right word.....the situation is like this:

if ($code=="1") { $link = 'url1.php'; }
if ($code=="2") { $link = 'url2.php'; }
if ($code=="3") { $link = 'url3.php'; }

if ($code=="4") { $link = 'url4.php'; }

and then load $link into a specified frame (target)....this cant be done with the 'regular' redirect-javascript snippet.....so is there a way to do this in PHP ?

PHP can do almost anything. Yes, it can do redirection. But from the looks of your code, it seems like your really talking about Pop Up windows in Javascript - not Java.

PHP is more of a server side tool, unless you want to use it as a command line processor , or slice cheese.

I will not say PHP can't do it, I'll just say I have not seen it being done yet.

Of course, that will not stop you from combining PHP and javascript together. With cookies or sessions you can build some really cool event oriented features for redirections and popups.
