WWW User problem

Hi,

I recently posted a question as to why "WWW User" kept cropping up in the From line of E-mail's I'm sending out. Thanks to Neville for his post, but I modified my code after what he suggessted, and still am having the same problem (What makes is so strange is that half the time the from line comes through correct, but the rest of the time it will come through as "WWW User" with a blank subject line). I've tried everything I can think of, and still this random problem occurs. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, please let me know. All I want is the company name to show up in the From Line.

$Email = "[e-mail]";
$sub = "A test";
$name = "My Company";
$address = "[e-mail]";
$msg = "Body message...";

mail($Email, $sub, $msg, "From:\"$name\"\nReply-to:$address\nContent-Type:text/html;charset=iso-8859-1");

You're still not providing a valid From: line, and the mail transport agent may react unpredictably. The From: line should include both name and address in a valid format as specified by the current Internet RFC.

Thanks for the post. I've also tried this in the From: line, and it didn't seem to work.

From:My Name<[e-mail]>

Is that not set to the standard?

I tried to send myself some test e-mails with this for the from line:

From: Tim Stowell <[e-mail]>

(I believe this is set to the proper RFC standard)

Once again sometimes it comes through correctly, and other times I get that it came from "WWW User" I have no idea what else to try. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Here's one other place to look. Check to make sure that there are no newlines stored in the $address and $name variables.
