Hi,
To use your code I replaced every \" by " ..OK?
But, I keep having a parse error in the peace of the code below. I've tried a whole bunch of different ways for that, but every one gives me a crazy e-mail as result.
Please give me a clue!!!

Thanks for your help!:-) It does work better
but, am I whrong or it dosen't handle *.zip or multiple files??
If so, do you know any other code that does??

I GOT IT!!!

All i had to do was change the line
$data=fread($fp1,filesize($file[$x]));
for
$data=fread($fp1,filesize(/tmp/$file[$x]));
and it wrorked!!

What if you want to send a file from the server. We have some partypics we want the visitor to be able to send. So from a static html file we use your script with <INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="send_file1" VALUE="01.jpg"> and then tmp/ stuff is deleted but then i get error (i'm new to php!!) >>

I'm not positive i understood your problem but your error:"Warning: fopen("","r") - No such ..." looks like you need the path of the file you're trying to open
like: "fopen("/path/filename.inc","r")

Please can you help

I am having problems sending to outlook express users with this mime_mail code.

They receive the message, then the attachment contents also appended to the message body and then the attachment at the end.

It works fine for standard outlook users.

Have you tried a doc with no spaces in the title?

This code works for me, but if I put the $content_type as "plain/txt" it puts the attachment into the body of the email. If change the content_type to "image/jpg" (eventhought it's plain text), it works. I'm worried this hack will cause problems, though. Any suggestions?

what the heck is $encode? you are using a variable called $encode in the function, but the variable hasn't been defined, nor has it been included as a parameter to the function!
