PHP + DHTML (hierMenus)

If anyone out there is familiar with the hierMenus you can get a dhtmlab.com, I have a question for you. I have implemented hierMenus on a site that has a mixture of PHP and shtml pages. The shtml pages seem to load just fine, and create the menus just fine. The PHP pages have alot of problems, though. It seems like the message "contacting servername.domain.com" stays up there forever, then finally (if I wait long enough) it will load. If I press reload several times, sometimes that helps. I'm using NN v4.75, PHP4, and hierMenus v 4.0.2. If anyone knows why this might be happening, I would appreciate a little help.

I have a correction to my previous post.

The message my browser message bar displays is "connect: host servername.domain.com contacted. Waiting for reply..." Then it might say "Reading file...Done." for quite awhile, and THEN it finally loads. Any ideas??

Netscape can be brutally slow on rendering sometimes, and it's like this that is causing the delay. I've noticed that nested tables will cause slow loading. You might want to compare between different browsers.
