Has anyone encounterd the following warning messages while trying to upload files to a directory on a server?

Every now and them while uploading I get the follow warnings and the upload doesn't go through. It tends to happen with .xls files around the 300k size and is browser independant.

Warning: Unable to open '' for reading: No such file or directory in /mydirectory/...

Warning: Unlink failed (No such file or directory) in /mydirectory/...

Any tips and/or suggestions would be most welcome.

maybe u must write all the path...

$newfilename="image.gif";
$path="http://www.yourdomain.com/images";
if (!copy ($userfile,$path.$newfilename)){error}

if it won't work try to use move_uploaded_file() function. it uses the same as copy()

i used this code, but it not execute. i try to use move_upload_file() function, but it also don't work, why??

when i use
$path = "../images", it work.
but i want to use absolute path, how??? pls help thanks a lot.
