Intergrating payment systems

Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, helpful links, whatever, on incorporating a php3 shopping cart program we've written with a secure payment acceptance service? We need to
find a way for the shopping cart to gather all of the necessary information (tax, shipping, products, name, address, tax exempt status, etc). Then the final checkout page the shopping cart will pass all info together to the payment acceptance service.

If you want to do it so that the payment processor is invisible to your visitor you will need to install cURL so that PHP can do an https post. Once you have that you can have your processing page handle the vars however you need, do a https post, get the return array and process the new vars. It will differ depending on your processor. Check the PHP manual for cURL.
