Dynamic Flash Movies

Here's a good one for you.
I'm trying to build a dynamic Flash Movie using PHP. I can pass text to the SWF file OK but I'd like to be able to pass graphics too. I've been led to believe that you can't include raw GIF's or JPEG's into Flash at runtime but you can include other SWF files. I've heard you can use PHP to generate Flash. What's the chances of using PHP to convert a GIF to a SWF?

I don't know how to do it personally, but check out the php/flash tutorials on this site. They can also lead you to other tutorials if you read the comments at the bottom by the readers.

Let me know if you find a good way to do this, because it would be very useful for me as well.
