images with PHP4 and windows

I'm trying to generate images with PHP4 and windows.
I've loaded the library php_gd.dll, but I can't create an image whatever its format is (jpg, gif, png).

I get on the screen nothing or this kind or @!#$ :

can u show me ur code?
i guess that is something output(even spaces) before u print out the content of the image.
