Hi i've got a time that i'm inputting into a mysql database, what i want to do is have it so that they can type in a 4 digit number and when it submits it adds 2 digits to the end, eg 16:00 submit

    16:00:00 with the extra 2 digits that i've added at the end.

Any one know of a way of doing this, thanks Martin

Assume that $time is the submited time, do $time = $time . ":00"; and you are all set.

Just for info;
You can also do this in the SQL insert statement:

INSERT INTO your_table (your_column) VALUES (concat('$your_string',':00'));
