handling mysql with php4

I am using php4 with mysql.I am doing a module for admin for my website.Thru this admin module the administrator can upload the master entries.And also he can edit/delete the entries.I want to generate a report after posting the master entries.Is there any report writer utility available for mysql database.Any help will be more appreciated.

i dont think there is such utility..what u can do is make log file of every action done on database,keep track of records and then can display records according to that
just a simple solution..
