More OOP stuff

I've been doing a bit of reading lately about OOP stuff and I'm curious about a number of things that some of the recent OOP articles didn't seem to cover. I am only going to ask one quetion at this however.

My understanding is that C being an imperative language was obviously not created with OOP in mind. Therefore, there are no native mechanisms for dealing with message passing. Does this extend to PHP as well? PHP seems very similar to C (I'm not proclaiming to know it all, so be gentle in your flames) to me so far, so I'm curious if the similarities extend to the use of Objects.

I see nobody answered your question so since I see it I will :o)

Yes Php can handle message passing in the same way any other oo language does. The message gets passed inbetween the () of the method.

Class blaa
{
functioin blaa($Message1, $Message2)
{
Stuff for method.

}

}
it is the callers responsibility to pass the appropriate message and datatype (not an issue in Php!)

Thanx for the response. I'm sorry that I didn't see it sooner. Busy with a clients site.

Anyway, I am hip on the idea of OOP and am
working on a db abstraction layer using it.
I figure it will help me to understand OOP more and also build a better tool for db work that I hope to have in the future.
