FastTemplate get_template() failure

This one is special.
The script is for reading a directory and putting subdirs and files into a template.
It works fine when I run the file, but when I click one of the subdirs, I get
this "ERROR: get_template() failure: [templates\fileshow.tpl]"
For some reason I need to have a copy of the template file in each dir it reads,
and that is a bad thing when there is lots of subdirs.

I hope some one has a solution, since I need it badly.

The zip-fil contains: showdir2.inc, fileshow.tpl, index.php3, class.FastTemplate.php3.

I use Apache 1.3.14 under Windows 98.2 on another pc, for testing.

Sounds like you just need to modify the directory argument you pass to FastTemplate. Assuming it's relative to the cwd, it will have to be different for scripts in different directory levels. For example, if you have this line in one file:

$template = new FastTemplate('templates');
?>

And you copy the same file into a subdirectory within the directory the original file is in, it won't work, because there isn't a templates directory where it looks. So, you have 2 options: either call chdir('..') before creating the template, or pass '../templates' as the parameter to FastTemplate. (change those to fit your situation, of course)

I found the solution i dir().
Using this i get a $handle = dir( $dirpath), where $dirpath is parsed the
clicked subdir. Then I use $handle->path and $handle->read() to concat
the list of subdirs and files in current directory.
It works damn good.
