Uploading problem...

Hello.!!! i can't get my file uploading script to work..

I have already followed the instruction on the manual..... all of them

When i print the variable of the file that was uploaded. it prints the

orig filename as produced by echo $att_name;
content-type as produced by echi $att_type;

but it doesn't print

temporary file name as produced by echo $att;

file size as produced by echo $att_size

Whats wrong with my script or with PHP?

check privileges. Eg. if you're running apache on *nix box, check directory permission - you have right to write into them with the same UID/GID as apache runs with - if your apache runs with nobody.nobody, you have to give -w- privilege to that directory you want write to.

i thought PHP by default uses /tmp for in saving file uploads... if i'm correct that means there is no permission issue since /tmp directory allows (o)others to write(w) read(r) and (x) a file. 🙂
