directory listing....

I have a directory called images:

/home/username/public_html/images

Which I need, for all the images within to have their filename listed ona PHP page and also, allow them to be deleted.

What would the code be to do this all?

Producing a link next to them to be deleted, and clicking on the image name opens the image.???

well... i won't write the script for you, but you need to use the opendir() and readdir() functions to display the image names, and use the unlink() function to delete them. All in all, this is a very simple script. If you're just learning PHP, this will be a good exercise.

This is exactually the same problem I'm having. I don't know anything about PHP yet. before i start on it i'd like to see an example of the solution. Have you seen one already or is yours ready yet??
