How: Stop sending FORM-Data (Post) again

Hi,

actually I work on a page which has several forms in it. if one of them will be submitted, the action-tag calls this page again to validate the form-fields. the variables will submitted by the POST-Method

the problem now is, that if I just push the reload-button or submit an other form within this page, the browser pops up a window, wheater I want to send data again (yes/cancel).
1. the data has already been send one time, so sending it again could give some "data jam".
2. it is very anoying, answering always this popup.

My question now is: Is there a possibility to clear the POST-Variables anyhow with PHP? At least the content of they variables already has been processed.

how it works? if Submit event appears, the form calls javascript function validate. if validate returns true, form will be submitted, if false, no action will be taken. (you may add warn - alert()..eg)

Hrm... I can't get this to work. I have JavaScript testing my form in a function that's referred to in onSubmit, but it submits it no matter what it returns.

I've even tried a test function that looks like:

function test(){
return false;
}
and using that in the onSubmit event, but it just goes straight ahead and does it anyway! What am I doing wrong?
